Grifter is drinking alone in a bar thinking about his past relationship with Badrock's mom admitting he thought he was over her but after seeing her again he isn't so sure. Badrock walks in telling Grifter that the two should be partners Grifter declines the offer and the two are attacked. They defeat the men but destroy the bar in the process after the fight Badrock's father shows up and tells the two that his wife has been kidnapped again.
